The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge began Day 6 of their Canadian Royal Visit at the Somba K'e Civic Plaza in Yellowknife. William is wearing a dark suit, while Kate is in a cream, three-quarter sleeve dress by Maleness Birger. The knee-length outfit is cinched at the waist with bold shoulder pads.

I agree with the Erdem votes. The navy outfit (ditto above on the stewardess similarity) was too "old" -- it lacked the creativity and charm of outfits she usually pieces together. (everything matched a little too well) I love that she recycled the Issa dress, but it seemed a bit too young and casual for an official event. It will be hard for her to walk this fine line: to manage to find outfits that reflect her young, stylish nature, while still being appropriate to her new position. (Sunday's seem great!)

God I wish I had that Smythe jacket... but I could never let myself spend that much... I keep telling myself there is no way in hell it would ever look as good on me as it does on Kate... which is probably true and slightly consoling though I still want it.

.. it's almost unfair to judge- because, in my opinion, she is perfectly appropriate in all 3- for 3 separate purposes/occasions.. I find that part of what is breathtaking about her is her unerring sense of 'appropriateness' in attire and poise. how this lovely young woman can look so elegant and dignified and modest and unassuming, all at the same time- is quite the lesson in etiquette. wow. of course.. I'm voting for the amazing 'lace number'.. but only because it's 'sposed to be dazzling! it would look ridiculous to board a plane in it.. just as it would be overdressing to wear it in front of the young crowd at the barbeque. BRAVO, Princess Catherine!

I totally agree. One of the ladies at my office commented that her parents must have done a wonderful job raising her. She is quite a lady -- intelligent, appropriate, and beautiful as well. As I've said before, William and England are quite fortunate.

I voted for the Erdem dress as well, but I love look #1, but it looks a little too "business-y" though. LOVE the shoes, LOVE the Mulberry bag. The only thing that kept me from voting for it was the lack of bling. I'm holding my breath waiting for her to bust out more of Diana's jewelry. I know.....but I just can't help it. I think the navy dress would've looked nice with a string of pearls (or perhaps a choker.....oops, did I say that out loud).

Overall, nicely done. Beautiful girl with loads of class.
