For today’s departure from Bhutan, the Duchess brought back the white Alexander McQueen separates first worn in Singapore on the 2012 Jubilee Tour.
Mist and clouds hung low over the Bhutan airport as the royal party said their formal goodbyes to Bhutan. William and Kate now return to India and make their visit to the Taj Mahal.
Weather conditions were much different when we first saw the Duchess in the broderie anglaise pieces. Above, September 2012.
It looked cool and damp but Kate didn’t seem to be chilled.
She accessorized with her LK Bennett Natalie clutch.
And I *think* she wore her Fern heels, also by LK Bennett.
The Duchess also wore her Kiki McDonough Lauren pave diamond leaf earrings.
Emily Andrews of The Sun shared a picture of the necklace Kate received as a gift from Queen Jetsun.
The royal entourage and media enjoyed spectacular views of the Himalayas and Mt. Everest on the way to Agra. Mark Stewart shared a picture of the stunning mountains and skies.
The group arriving at Agra’s airport.
The hospitality was evident in Agra with banners welcoming the royal visitors.
There is local interest in the visit, more from the Hindustan Times:
Stringent security measures are in place at the Taj Mahal for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Kate Middleton’s visit to the monument on Saturday.
To mark the Duke and Duchess’ visit to Agra, a local cafe is serving a special complimentary coffee, the Royal Duchess coffee to customers. The Sheroes Hangout café is run by acid attack survivors.
The most noticeable thing about arriving back in India today: the heat. It is 41℃, that’s about 105℉. It’s possible “oppressive” is an understatement, the word ‘enervating’ comes to mind.
The media preparing to wait.
The engagement is slated for 3:45pm local time, that’s 6:45 EDT. The schedule is relatively simple: Kate & William will pose for photographs and then spend an hour touring the Taj Mahal privately. We’ll have total coverage of that event; if merited, we will live blog. There are a variety of advancers on today’s visit, here is a partial list:

I think this is one of my favorite looks! I loved it back in 2012 and even looked in to having something made. Figured it wouldn't look as good though! With the blue wedges it looked great, but it's even better with the nude. White with nude accessories is such a classy look!
Also, having seen pictures of her when she was younger, I think she has naturally curly/wavy hair. As someone with similar texture, HOW on earth is her hair defying the heat and humidity???? I would love to know what products she is using!

That necklace is beautiful. I won't be surprised if we see her wear it again back in the UK. I like the deep neckline on this dress. She looks great.

Nice to see Kate uncovered. This looks very stylish after all the boho looks, although not one of McQueen's more interesting designs. Same as usual looking bag and shoes. It was good of Kate to wear the gift necklace but something brighter would have picked this look up a bit. As I said earlier Kate's stylist isn't putting much effort into accessories what are fairly basic outfits that could really benefit from some creativity to lift these outfits from ok to wow.

I like this look so much better without the belt, and I liked the Emilia Wickstead for Bhutan arrival so much better WITH the belt. Funny how a belt can make or break an entire outfit!

I want a necklace like the one Kate got from Queen Jetson. So delicate and beautiful (and meaningful too). Kate is a vision of grace and beauty.
