@Raman, I am not disagreeing with your point about emphasizing the positive rather than the negative. But I do feel the regular followers of this blog would not be here if we did not deeply admire the PoW and her fashion. I think sometimes the negative provokes us to the keyboard more quickly than the positive, which is unfortunate, and we should keep your attitude in mind when we comment. But the vast majority of us do come from a place of admiration and respect for the PoW.

I'd be happy to have someone who understands fashion and proportion better than I, explain why I am right or wrong.

@Mazza, I thought exactly the same thing about the tiara's placement! although it is indeed a little bit delicate for the rest of the look, I loved it and I think it would have been much more striking if she had worn it more forward on her forehead, almost like the queen mother did in those photos from the 20s.
