Our post today is a bit unusual in that it really doesn’t focus on a recent appearance by Kate, but rather on a designer she is very fond of, Katherine Hooker. Below we see the Duchess in a Katherine Hooker coat worn many times, one that was significantly shortened for an updated look at an appearance earlier this year.

Because Katherine Hooker has been such a Kate favorite over the years, and because the company’s US trunk shows are almost upon us, we thought it would be fun to share a few looks from this summer’s collections.
The shows start in Jackson Hole (Wyoming) August 31, with stops in places like Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Dallas, New York and Washington, DC. Below we show a piece that is new to the collection this year, the Tallulah jacket.

Below we show the Baseball Jacket (L), a detail from that jacket (C), and the Rainey (R).
A nice quality of the stunning pieces from this designer is their versatility, they look splendid in different textiles and weights; below we see the classic Hacking Jacket in linen on the left and a lovely silk matka on the right.
Kate has been photographed several times in the immensely popular Alexander jacket. To see a complete schedule of the US shows, click here. Best of all, appointments are not required, that makes it easy for anyone who decides to pop in at the last minute.
As an FYI, there has been no compensation for this post, nor has any been offered. I am merely a fan of the line and wanted to share the information about the upcoming trunk shows.
