Hello,
I’m not sure if the info on Kate’s cowboy boots worn in Calgary is correct. It was reported by the Calgary Herald that they were custom-made ostrich and kangaroo leather cowboy boots, crafted especially for her (and William) by the Alberta Boot Co.

Hello Janet, thank you for reading *and* commenting on the blog! As an FYI, Kate did not wear the boots made by Mr. Gerwing. If you look at photos of the boots he made they have ostrich on the foot, and are clearly different from the boots she wore. I hoped she would wear them one of the two days, William wore his, but she did not, at least not in any of the photos we have seen. If you do a search for ‘Gerwing boots kate’ you should see links to the news stories and photos. Thank you again Janet!
