Another Reiss Dress for Kate Middleton…Honeymoon Wear Perhaps?

As the Reiss dress worn by Catherine Middleton for her engagement photo is re-released (and sells out almost everywhere), we learn that she has purchased yet another Reiss frock.

The always-on-top-of-things Leah at Fashionista shared in a post yesterday that when speaking with company founder David Reiss he mentioned that Miss Middleton recently acquired this dress.

Reiss Peacock Dress

The Reiss Peacock Dress comes in two colors, a creamy white and vermilion. Below, the dress description:

“Peacock dress with mesh and cording embroidery at the top, is the perfect occasion dress for Spring. It has a wide round neck, fastens with a concealed zip at the back and cinches in at the waist. A heavily lined and full skirt makes for a super flattering finish.”

In the photos showing the dress on a model, the red is rather more washed out than we anticipated, nowhere near as rich and lush as it looks in the merchandise images.

We don’t know what color was purchased, but do think the dress is lovely, it seems very well suited to Miss Middleton. The dress retails for £195 in the UK and $375 on this side of the pond.
