As hoped, Kensington Palace released a new picture of Prince George to commemorate his fifth birthday.

George and his family will be celebrating on the island of Mustique, where they are vacationing. More from Rebecca English in this Daily Mail story:
The family left London on Monday and have been joined by grandparents Carole and Michael Middleton, and aunt Pippa and her husband James Matthews, so it will be quite a party.
The photo was shot by Matt Porteous, who also photographed Prince Louis’s christening for the family’s private photo album.
Here is a quick refresher on official photos for George as he has grown up. Pictures for his first birthday were taken at the Natural History Museum. The Duchess wore the Suzannah Budding Heart Tea Dress in those images.
For his second birthday, a Mario Testino photo from Princess Charlotte’s christening was released.
A series of photos taken at Anmer Hall by Matt Porteous was released for the Prince’s third birthday. (More in this post.)
We saw a more formal photo portrait when George turned four, taken by Chris Jackson of Getty Images, who has shot several official Cambridge photos.
And now we have the latest in the series, it is a wonderful picture of the Prince.

Happy Birthday, George! It looks like you're wearing the same button down shirt that you wore for your brother's christening. Perhaps the photographer, Matt Porteous, snapped your birthday portrait just before he took those beautiful photos of your mom holding Prince Louis, awake and smiling. I bet you and your sister were making your little brother laugh! That must have been a fun day.
