The official photos from Princess Eugenie’s wedding have been released and they are lovely. While this isn’t “What Eugenie Wore,” I thought you might like seeing the pictures.
Here is the detailed info on those seen in the group photo above:
- Back row: Mr. Thomas Brooksbank; Mrs. Nicola Brooksbank; Mr. George Brooksbank; Princess Beatrice; Sarah, Duchess of York; The Duke of York
- Middle row: Prince George; Princess Charlotte; Her Majesty The Queen; The Duke of Edinburgh; Miss Maud Windsor; Master Louis De Givenchy
- Front row: Miss Theodora Williams; Miss Mia Tindall; Miss Isla Phillips; Miss Savannah Phillips
Two of the photos were shot in the White Drawing Room at Windsor Castle. Below, the bridesmaids and page boys with Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank.
The pictures were taken by Alex Bramall, a British fashion and portrait photographer. Mr. Bramall started his career at British Vogue. He spent 12 years as an art director with Mario Testino before opening his own studio in 2014.
He shot the stunning photos of Princess Eugenie seen in an August 2016 Harper’s Bazaar feature, A Day in the Life of Princess Eugenie of York.
And he shot the couple’s engagement photos. In those pictures, Eugenie wore an Erdem dress that was also seen in the Harper’s Bazaar story.
More from Town and Country:
The Palace revealed the gown was inspired by the colors of Windsor and the countryside. The color of the dress reflects the blush of an English rose, and Posen was specifically inspired by the the White Rose of York.
“It was an incredible honor to create this dress for HRH Princess Eugenie on her wedding day,” Posen said of the design in a press release. “Her grace, elegance and strength perfectly embody everything I could hope for in a woman wearing our design.” Posen was also a guest at Friday’s wedding ceremony.
Eugenie wore a hair slide last night that is on loan from HM. It comes from a set known as Queen Victoria’s Wheat-Ear Brooches. There is excellent information about the brooches at Her Majesty’s Jewel Vault.
More about the reception from Erin Hill’s People story:
A gourmet pizza truck provided food and Casamigos margaritas was the cocktail of choice. (Jack works as a brand manager for the tequila brand started by George Clooney and Rande Gerber before they sold the company for $1 billion last year.)
Enjoy your weekend!

Absolutely GORGEOUS photos! Love all of them! I do hate to be this person, the picky side of me noticed Jack isn't listed next to his father.

What an eye you have! You found a glaring error that has been repeated over and over on various sites.

Well, Eugenie isn't listed in the group photo either. I think Susan assumed that we'd know who the bride and groom, Jack and Eugenie, are.

Lovely photos though I felt a bit sorry for the children who were beginning to look weary. I'm not a fan of the Zac Posen, it's a bit 1930s Hollywood for me. Like other commentators I would love to see a better photo of it as the lighting has certainly done it no favours.

I totally agree on the Zac Posen. I find it quite unattractive actually.

Zac Posen's instagram has details of the flowers on the dress if you're interested! Eugenie looked so lovely on her big day!
