Cambridge Children “Clap for our Carers” in New Video

Tonight Kensington Palace released a new video of Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis applauding health care workers. It is part of a UK-wide effort called #ClapforOurCarers, thanking those working on the front lines during the crisis.

At the end of the video, I think you hear a little giggle from Charlotte.

The royal applause didn’t go unnoticed; the NHS retweeted the video with #ThankYouNHS and three little crown emojis.

The campaign was created to thank ‘doctors, nurses, carers, GPs, pharmacists, volunteers, and other NHS staff working tirelessly to help those affected by the coronavirus.’ Below, one of the graphics promoting tonight’s event.

Earlier today the Royal Family social media accounts posted a message: “We are enormously thankful for the expertise and commitment of our scientists, medical practitioners and emergency and public services.”

There is also a video of the Wessex family taking part.

Windsor Castle’s applause as posted via The Royal Family Twitter account.

Wembley tonight.

Another message promoting the event said, “During these unprecedented times they need to know that we are grateful,” asking people to join for “big applause from front doors, garden, windows, balconies, to show all who are working on the front line our appreciation for their ongoing hard work and fight against this virus.”  Below, the scene in Northampton.

And Glasgow.

And in London.

One gentleman tweeted a video of the scene in his neighborhood.

This is right across the road from Wythenshawe Hospital in Manchester.

Actor Daniel Craig and (I think) Rachel Weisz, his wife. You will see other James Bond co-stars in the video.

Belfast City Hall lit up in blue.

This was a lovely video for the Cambridges to post, shining a spotlight on those working so tirelessly during the pandemic, coming at a time when spirits may be flagging and anxiety increasing. I know all of us around the globe share the same gratitude for those working on the frontlines in our communities. May you and those you love stay safe and well.

This BBC video has a good roundup of some of the sights and sounds from #ClapforOurCarers.

There is a picture released a few days ago of Kate at her desk wearing a pinkish pants suit. Can you cover that please?

I can’t stop watching them clap! It’s wonderful. And Louis looking up to his siblings to make sure they are all clapping is just what we all need. They are so precious. Thank you for keeping up on posts.

This is so, so dear. Seeing Louis look up at his big brother and sister to make sure he's doing it right is SO adorable. My goodness Louis looks like a Middleton!

Thanks for a lovely post to acknowledge a small moment of triumph amid present difficulties. It was an accomplished PR move by the Cambridges to show all three children dressed in blue to honour the NHS, and they were captivating as they joined in with such enthusiasm. Who will ever forget Prince Louis looking round to check his big siblings were still clapping? Too cute!

How nice of everyone to clap for all the many health care workers who risk their life every day. Such a cute video of the Cambridge children clapping and doing their part. They are being brought up very well.

Jut a note about some retail news, the twisted circle earrings from Accessorize are still available. I bought them and they are very nice and comfortable. Delivery now will be delayed probably. The short drop filigree earrings replica from Allison Rose Atelier I was told by customer service will be delayed and won't be available until mid April on Amazon along with a Duchess Kate collection of replica jewelry.

Everyone stay safe and we will get through this crisis together.

I meant to say end of April beginning of May. Love to see anything positive and uplifting on this site to help us. Saw a lovely video of The Duke and Duchess of Wessex with their children.
