UPDATED 7.12.2011:  The shoes are the “Lovely” style in the powder pink colorway. Jimmy Choo posted the following on their Facebook page today.

The Lovely is not currently available in the Powder Pink worn by Kate.

The shoe has a 4.3″ heel (110 mm) and is available in the Black Patent for $525.

Kate and William’s first stop was a conference on venture capital and new media put on by Variety magazine.

The designer is worn by many notables, including Michelle Obama and Gwyneth Paltrow.  Born in Serbia and now London-based, Ms. Ilincic is described by the Telegraph as “Famous for her fluid, draped designs in dazzling, jewel-box colours…”.

With an enormous thank you to WKW Facebook pal Janice and AnnieElizabethN on Twitter, we are able to show you the dress at Matches Fashion, the two eagle eyes discovered the dress there almost immediately.

Here is how the dress is described at Matches Fashion:

“Light blue grey. Draped neck to one side. Cap sleeves. Pleats down from drape neck to waist band. Pleated skirt. White tulle neckline and cuff trim. Centre back pleats. Small pleated panels from back waist band. Exposed centre back zip. Beige grosgrain front tie.”

If still available, the dress is quite a bargain, currently reduced in price from £815 to £570.  It is also available in other colorways, notably a rich turquoise, at other online sites, your best bet is to do a search for “Roksanda Ilincic Peridot dress”.

Kate carried the LK Bennett Natalie Clutch again, and it looked like she kept her Kiki McDonough Grace Earrings on from earlier today.

As previously mentioned, we do not recognize the shoes, a very pale peachy nude with a pointed toe and no platform.  We’ll update as soon as we know the maker and style.

We will return tomorrow, the day holds a host of activities, from polo to the black tie party tomorrow night.

  1. Where can I get this dress?

  2. Just saw that the shoes are LOVELY in powder pink by Jimmy Choo. Also the shoes from Prince Edward Island. Confirmation by Jimmy Choo facebook page.

  3. Isn’t it interesting that her pink shoes match the ribbon on the dress as shown in the Matches Fashion picture, even though she didn’t wear the ribbon? Perfect dress for her.

  4. Just for your information, Canada is also an American soil!!

  5. I believe these are Jimmy Choo shoes from the Sping 2011 collection, unfortunately they appear to have sold out online and I cannot get a link to the shoes that I believe they are. If I find it, I will post it on here! Such a timeless and classic dress sense she has!! It is not so much high fashion but will last over the years and there will still be people wearing these types of outfits in years to come. Love it! (also love the fact she recycles outfits, rather than a one-wear-wonder like many celebs are nowadays! It makes it feel more accessible to the average person!)

  6. The dress is gorgeous–I love that Kate is staying true to her own style and not “Hollywoodizing” herself just because she’s in LA. Her wardrobe is so refreshing, light, and lovely compared to the sex-kitten look American starlets always wear. Yay for Kate!

  7. I am interested to see pictures of the green dress (beautiful shade) that she wore last night at the reception. It looked very simple and elegant. Only saw the top – it was difficult from the picture that I saw what accessories she chose.

  8. She is anorexic! STOP Promoting this disease. She should be in a treatment center!

    • Umm excuse me pattycake, since when were do you know ANYTHING about Kate’s personal life?! Unless you know something the rest of the world doesn’t, including the hundreds of reporters covering every aspect of Kate’s life, I would back off. Second, this is a fashion blog so check your “gossip” at the door. We are here to examine her sense of style not defame her person. And last time I checked toned arms and legs do not equal anorexia, it is called exercise, try it.

  9. I can’t get with the exposed zipper ~ especially one that can also zip up from the hem! The color is beautiful on Catherine.

  10. ok, I definetely have to know the label of that shoes!!!!!!

  11. I love that dress. The drapey front looks so interesting and relaxed. Not sure about the colour of those shoes with the dress though – and yes, I thought they were the ones she wore with the Joseph dress and that cute unidentified jacket.

  12. The shoes are the same that she wore with her JOSEPH dress on 3 July. They were not the Rupert Sanderson as they are straight in the front and not curvy-v-shaped as everyone thought. I completely agree with the other Lilly that she would not pack 2 shoes that similar if she wasn’t going to wear them more often. Also, on this photo you can see that the shoes are identical: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=199344196782338&set=a.199328580117233.66948.187429184640506&type=1&theater

    I love her dress!!

  13. I love the crepe dress I found a dress that looks almost like it from WANNAWEAR by Tina O for 350.00 I thinks its called the Cambridge Dress. I am going to order it after my husband says he likes it too
I will show a picture of Kate in it 1st . (wink) CF

  14. WOW, she really wears this dress well.

  15. I’m not a designer, but I’m so glad Catherine decided not to wear the beige “belt”. It somehow looks like an afterthought. She looks lovely, of course. I’m anxious to see what else she wears in the US. Her Canadian wardrobe was stunning.

  16. Could her shoes be the Jimmy Choo Gilbert?

  17. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-2012779/Kate-Middleton-A-flash-thigh-sensational-week.html

per this article Liz Smith says Kates navy pumps worn with McQueen dress are Prada….

this article- Liz Smith says Kate’s blue shoes she wore with McQueen dress are Prada….

  19. Perhaps the shoes are the same pink ones she wore with the Joseph dress on July 3?

  20. Thanks for the update! Aren’t these the same shoes she wore in Canada (which we couldn’t identify then, either)?

  21. She looks so damn gorgeous! I adore this dress thanks for another great post.

  22. she’s got great style even she is always wearing the same silhouette. it’s refreshing to see someone so young yet with so much elegance. I found this story on her style and what Issa thinks of her: Meet Kate Middleton’s Go-To Designer http://blogs.forbes.com/bluecarreon/2011/07/05/meet-kate-middletons-go-to-designer/

  23. Everything Kate wears is fabulous!!! What a treat to have found your blog. Keep it going, girl!

  24. got to hand it to kate, chic as always. she could give all those hollywood starlets a run for their money. i bet you joan rivers won’t have anything not nice to say about kate’s style. You should this story on her: Meet Kate Middleton’s Go-To Designer http://blogs.forbes.com/bluecarreon/2011/07/05/meet-kate-middletons-go-to-designer/

  25. Beautiful dress, a very chic choice for her arrival to LA. Her arms are so buff! Kate, put those guns away! ;)

  26. I like that dress a lot.

  27. The shoes are most likely the same shoes (Rupert Sanderson?) that she wore Sunday morning. They look remarkably similar, and I doubt that she packed two separate pairs of shoes to wear only once each. That doesn’t seem to be her style, especially since she’s re-worn so much over the past 9 days.

  28. LOVE this dress! great color, great draping to look california-informal but still def styled. it gives her a lovely shape without being tight. really like the little edging to add softness.

so she didn’t wear the sash shown on the model. but it does looks like she has a little tie back – which is not on the model. is that my imagination?

aren’t the shoes the same as the ones she wore to go to prince edward island, with the cropped chanel-y jacket?

  29. Love the dress! The soft palette looks really pretty on Kate–subdued, regal, yet very sophisticated.
