As hoped, new photos of Prince Louis were released today to mark his first birthday.
It’s hard to believe this was the scene a year ago tomorrow.
Prince Louis has *really* grown since we last saw him in the family’s Christmas card photo.
The Duchess took the new photos at the family’s Norfolk home.
You may remember that Prince George’s first birthday was marked by three photos taken at the Natural History Museum.
When Princess Charlotte turned one, we were treated to four pictures taken by Kate at the family’s home.
Here is a quick refresher on Prince Louis’s first year. We start with the first photo of the Prince following his birth, also taken by his mother.
In July of last year, Prince Louis Arthur Charles was officially christened. 
The official photos were lovely, especially this one of Kate.
In addition to the formal christening photographs….
…we were treated to an “extra” shot of Louis and his mother taken by the family’s private photographer. 
In November we saw new family photos that included young Louis, taken to commemorate the 70th birthday of his grandfather.
And then we saw the Prince in the Cambridge Christmas card. 
The new photos were a hot topic this evening, making the front page of most London papers. It is just a delight to watch another Cambridge child growing up. I can only imagine what fun we’ll have watching him in the next year!

Well according to google celebrity facts Kate has green eyes and William has blue eyes. Both of Kate's parents are listed as having brown eyes.

That baby just radiates happiness! He is really precious! I see both his parents in his little face. It is so fun to watch children grow and see how genes express themselves.

Such a adorable, happy and smiling little fellow! I love that Kate has been taking the photos of her kiddies' milestones. It makes for a more natural and relaxed process and photos and as the children grow up these photos will be all the more precious to them.

Someone over at WKKW commented that Louis' face is Kate from the eyes up and William from the nose down, which I think is the best assessment so far! Charlotte favors William (and the Queen) more than her brothers do. I do see the hint of Prince Andrew, too. Isn't it funny how genes play together?

Adorable! Kate is a good photographer and look at those 2 little teeth! ? I think of the 3 kids Louis favors Kate the most. Thanks for sharing the post!
