Kate and William were back at Wimbledon today for the Gentlemen’s Championships.
The match was between Roger Federer…
…and Novak Djokovic.
Others watching today’s match included Carole, Michael and Pippa Middleton, as well as Pippa’s boyfriend Nico Jackson. And I could well be wrong, but it looks like Bear Grylls is sitting behind Mr. Jackson.
Actor Hugh Jackman posted a photo on Instagram as he took his seat with his wife Deborra-Lee Furness. (Mr. Jackman shaved his head for the role of Blackbeard in a new Peter Pan film.)
William and Kate were as expressive and engaged watching this match as they were at the men’s quarter-final match between Andy Murray and Grigor Dimitrov. Applause for the winner, Novak Djokovic.
The Duchess wore the Evelyn dress by designer Jonathan Saunders previously worn in the Solomon Islands on the Jubilee Tour of 2012.
The dress has a sheath silhouette in an aqua, forest-green, and white textured geometric print. The piece has a modified boat neck when seen from the front, with a deep V on the back.
In terms of accessories, Kate carried her Avona clutch from LK Bennett and a creamy ivory scarf that is unidentified at this point.
She was wearing her Givenchy sunglasses.
Kate also sported the Asprey charms necklace from the jeweler’s Woodlands collection.
In addition to the necklace, Kate wore her Cartier wristwatch and Kiki McDonough green amethyst and diamond earrings.
By the way, when all was said and done, it was Mr. Djokovic who won what became an epic match. Wimbledon has posted a video, toward the middle/end you see William and Kate congratulating him inside the Club. You can hear the Champ thank them for staying through the entire match that lasted nearly 4 hours (3 hours, 56 minutes to be precise).

Hello, As usual, Kate is beautiful and so classy.... I don't like the dress, but when she wears it, everything seems to be different. Kate is an exemple for every woman who wants to be elegant.... B. http://www.b-a-lady.com

Really liked this dresses the first time around and still do: the unusual bold pattern and shape. It's very different dress and it suits her a lot!

So glad to see Kate bring this dress back! I've always loved it. Bright, vivid colors look great on her and the pattern is a nice change of pace. I'm in the minority (but in good company, as ElizaMo agrees with me) in that I loved that Quaker hat she wore the first time with it!
Her hair looks lovely. Maybe she's just been experimenting w/ different styles?
Finally, I do wish she'd wear more statement jewelry. I tend to avoid small necklaces like that simply because it seems to defeat the point if it's so small no one notices it. Except for eagle-eyed fashion bloggers. :)

Isn't it wonderful how we think folks are intelligent when we agree with them? I like your own very apt comments on jewellery, I must admit I've gone through phases of frustration at Kate's apparent lack of experimentation in that department.
But I seem to be in a mellow phase at the moment. At least for now, I can accept that if Kate likes that sort of laid-back style, well, that's the way she is, and I'm just so glad she's willing to take on such a huge public role, especially when we see the problems William's younger brother has finding anyone who is equally willing to step up to the plate.

I don't like the pattern of this dress but it's a change. I did like the 'quaker cap' because it didn't look like a hat - it's the last British Establishment tradition to hang on in there, along with trouser-wearing. It just didn't go with the check dress though - It appeared to be pink, even if white, it didn't follow the outfit. It was more a style I would have put with the fuller styled clothing reminiscent of those days or Victorian styles when a similar cap was worn. And a pale colour. A teal felt hat would have been the best fit like the one worn on the Aussie tour (as the upper classes still wear hats to church). As for the ringlets, yes please, bring them back. I hate the present fashion for straight hair, bring back curls and perms - the sooner the better. Kate's fell out very quickly though, her fault for dressing inappropriately in a wooly dress in the heat. I too think this dress would have been better yesterday if Kate was worrying about wardrobe malfunctions and the green tea dress worn today! Both dresses suit her very much and I am glad it wasn't white again (though I really loved the white brodere anglaise dress and loved it on her too; I don't like this colour/style matching business either, white for wimbledon, red for st andrews, epaulettes if a military engagement etc - it can make one look as if one is wearing fancy dress (which was the effect of the Hussars jacket the late Diana wore on one occasion).

I love that Catherine wore this dress again and I find I like it even more the second time around. The colors, pattern, and cut are very flattering and if I had this dress I would wear it often! I just love the pics of their faces when they're watching the tennis match. It really shows how much they both loves sports and share that passion together. I agree with another commenter, that Pippa has looked very beautiful as well and I love her fashion sense. I do want to say though that while I know this is an open forum for our opinions, I really, really hate reading comments about Catherine being "too thin." Even if it isn't meant to be body shaming, that's how it comes across to me in the comments. I think that Catherine appears to be a very naturally small person. Just my thoughts on that. Thanks for the great pics at Wimbledon. Samuel L. Jackson is an absolute hoot IMO!

I am about Kate's height and build (sadly the comparison stops there - all else is so very different) and so many people tell me I'm 'too thin' and ask me 'when are you going to put weight on?'. And yet my weight is healthy for my height and build.
I can't speak for comments made about Kate's weight; personally I find at least some of the comments which come my way are fuelled by feelings arising from issues other than concern for my personal welfare.

Agreed... Kate is a very active woman and by all appearances is very healthy. She is very tall and slender. I have never once seen her look "emaciated" or "unhealthy". We have seen her at events with a very healthy appetite. There is no need to criticize her body for its natural state!
