The Princess of Wales chose previously worn styles for a meeting with a new advisory board today.

The eight-member board will offer advice and provide oversight of the work of her Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood.
The event was at Windsor Castle, in the Green Drawing Room.
More from Simon Perry’s People article.
Some of the advisory group are familiar voices in the area and have worked alongside Kate for several years as she built up her experience and expertise and knowledge in the area.
Palace officials explain that the group — who have expertise in areas across neuroscience, psychology, perinatal psychiatry, and policy development — will support Princess Kate and the Centre “as work is accelerated to promote the fundamental importance of the first five years of a child’s life.”
As they met, the palace announced that the Centre will be headed by Christian Guy, who becomes the Centre Director.
The Advisory Group members are:
- Professor Peter Fonagy OBE, Head of the Division of Psychology and Language Sciences at UCL and Chief Executive of the Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families
- Eamon McCrory, Professor of Developmental Neuroscience and Psychopathology, University College London
- Dr. Alain Gregoire, Consultant Perinatal Psychiatrist and President and Founder of the Maternal Mental Health Alliance (patron)
- Dr. Trudi Seneviratne, Registrar at the Royal College of Psychiatrists
- Ed Vainker OBE, co-founder of Reach Academy Feltham
- Carey Oppenheim, Project Lead at the Nuffield Foundation
- Imran Hussain, Director of Policy and Campaigns for Action for Children
- Beverley Barnett-Jones MBE, Associate Director at Nuffield Family Justice Observatory and Trustee at What Works in Children’s Social Care
And from this Hello story by Danielle Stacey.
Kate told the group: “Today I just want to think about and discuss what’s next, really. How do we keep this conversation going?
“This campaign’s really to try and raise the awareness of the importance of this issue. And it’s sort of what can we do collectively to keep the conversation going and what we do next. This campaign is really laying the foundation of why early childhood matters.”
We return to the Hello piece.
The Princess of Wales revealed she is “excited” about an upcoming campaign as she hosted her first meeting at Windsor Castle since she and Prince William moved to nearby Adelaide Cottage last summer.
Full details about the new campaign were not given but Kate told the group: “I am really excited for next week, there is lots coming out.”
(The Princess did host a reception at Windsor Castle last September.)
After the meeting, Kensington Palace tweeted, “An insightful first meeting with our @Earlychildhood Advisory Group, discussing a shared passion for the extraordinary impact of the first five years of life and its role in shaping us. Very exciting things ahead…!”
In this video about the meeting, you can hear the Princess speak about being “nervous and excited” about the panel.
Now for our look at what Kate wore at today’s meeting.
All of the styles worn by the Princess have been seen previously: the Alexander McQueen tuxedo jacket (no longer available), Holland Cooper bodysuit (£149), and Roland Mouret ‘Axon’ trousers (no longer available).
She accessorized with the Shyla London Chunky Knot Baroque Pearl Earrings (£72), first seen during the Boston trip last December.

I leave you with happy news from Princess Eugenie. Yesterday she posted on her Instagram page that she and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, are expecting their second child.

I wonder how the jacket and trousers actually ‘matched.’ I think I read that these pieces are from different designers as opposed to being a suit crafted from the same material. I am just getting to the point where I can think about wearing a black top of one sheen or material with black pants or skirt of another. If the colors are very different it would really distract me were I to see it up close. But, like others have said: more suits on the Princess, please!

Out of all her wearings of this beautifully tailored and elegant black McQueen Tuxedo jacket this is my favourite. A perfect choice against the backdrop of the splendour of the Green Drawing Room with its rich damask wallpaper and carved, gilded wooden panels.
The satin lapels of the jacket along with the silky white v-neck Holland & Cooper bodysuit elevate the look befitting the space and occasion; the first meeting of and introduction to her Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood advisory board.
Her hair, make up and baroque pearl drop earrings perfect.

She’s done another rewear today too for a visit to a food bank. I think she’ll carry on with this too. It’s a very good move.

This suit is very smart. Wish I had a reason to buy a fancy blazer. As it is I settled for a Dooney and Bourke purse on winter clearance. Still the most expensive purse I’ve ever bought!! (Can you tell I’m excited). Anyhoo the princess looks lovely and kind and I hope the next phase of her early years campaign goes well!

I would love if you could include photos of her wearing the same garments in a previous occasion - it's fun to see how she mixes her clothes now that she started to wear more repeats.
