We have a delightful surprise to share this morning: we are doing a giveaway for (insert drum roll) a pair of London Sole shoes! Most readers are familiar with Kate’s fondness for this company’s ballet flats, she has been seen wearing them on many occasions.

So when the company got in touch and asked if readers might be interested in winning a pair of the Duchess’s fave flats you can imagine my reaction, I almost crawled through my monitor with glee!
To be more specific about the prize, one lucky lady (or gentleman) will win her choice of either a pair of Pirouette or Henrietta flats. Below, the Pirouette is shown in Burgandy Croc patent leather.

The Pirouette is one of the brand’s more popular styles, a classic ballet flat with working drawstring ties, retailing at $165. Below we show it in an über-elegant Grey Patent with darker grey trim, Leopard Ponyhair with red trim and Black Patent.

Here are two pair of Henrietta quilted flats, the shoes on the left are what Kate is seen wearing up above (the chocolate croc in patent leather) on the right we see the black croc in patent, these are both wonderful basics that can be worn time and again.

The Henrietta is made in Spain, it actually provides more support than the Pirouette, has a leather bottom and adjustable laces – think of it as an allday trip to the spa for your feet. This style retails anywhere from $195 to $255. Below, the Henrietta in Quilted Black with Gold Stud detail, Red Double Stitched Patent in the center and Platine Leather on the right.

Some of the Henrietta styles come with a rubber sole as opposed to the more standard leather sole, the Ginger Blue Croc shown in the center is one such shoe, that pair is flanked by the Multi Glitter Fabric on the left and Silver Sequin Fabric on the right. (Can you say fun party shoes?!)

These shoes are my favourites! I have yet to own a pair, but if I had to choose one model apart from the ones shown here, it would have to be the Mariposa MP10. Not only is the design feminine and flashy, but the name “Mariposa” reminds me of a dear friend of mine who couldn’t pronounce my name when we first met, and that’s what he called me =P
I’m a huge fan of stylish flats because I’m “on duty” 24/7 and I have to look good and be comfortable at the same time. Few flats meet both requirements, that’s why I find this brand to be superb! Also, I recently sprained my ankle, and am not able to wear high heels. Cute flats are a MUST! And London Sole flats are of outstanding quality.

I know you might think we Australians spend the summer months in thongs and the winter in Blundstone boots and Uggs but let me prove you wrong… I love the pointe ballet shoe look of the square-toe Clara shoe in black. I’m simply not comfortable walking and working all day in heels so love a beautifully made flat or slight wedge to wear around the office and in my train commute to and from work… Flats, especially London sole flats, work best with my lifestyle and the Clara is comfy, strongly constructed and gorgeously designed. Needless to say I ‘liked’ the French Sole page long ago and am now a fan of the London Sole page too! Will we get an ‘Australian Sole’ anytime soon perhaps???

London Sole in my opinion design the prettiest ballet flats. My favourite shoe is a toss up between the Pirouette and the Henrietta in Chocolate Croc or Black Croc Patent. They are delicate, feminine and extremely stylish, everything a woman could ask for. I believe that either of these styles would please and flatter women of all ages and become an essential and timeless addition to any wardrobe.

I love the “ballet sneakers” because of their added comfort and support. I would buy either the graphite or leopard suede print. I don’t wear the ballet shoes I already have very often because they are not comfortable if I’m doing a lot of walking or standing. Without this contest I would not have know about their sneaker model. I will be telling my sister about these because she has (or should I say used to have) the same complaint about ballet’s being uncomfortable that I do. Thanks WKW and London Sole!

You can either go for the classic black or if you’re feeling bold you can go for the zebra stripe and the red bow! Difficult decision between the Mariposa and Rebecca… I guess the Rebecca though for a different, clean look!
I am absolutely enchanted by the Clara shoes as well, they seem to have a timlessness with the more square toe.
For entry 1, my favorite London Sole style is the Clara. They remind me of my pointe shoes in ballet (and have a reference to the Nutcracker)!

I LOVE the Pirouette and would LOVE a pair! I already like “London Sole” on facebook. I love Kate’s style and have been searching ebay for a low cost used pair. They are classy and comfortable. Well. .. . . I have been wearing ballet flats for as long as I can remember and when London Sole came around, I began wearing them more. I have a few of her styles, but I prefer the Black Woven Leather Clara with Black Trim. They mimic a toe shoe and are ultra comfortable. Also – they look great with all hem styles: skirts, skorts, shorts, capri, boot leg, wide leg and skinny jeans! I am a Facebook Fan of WKW, SKC and LS. I really like the Ballet Sneakers. I think they’d be so practical for my lifestyle, but still so chic! Plus the longer shank reminds me of my old toe shoes from the days when I was younger and thinner and could twirl my entire body on the tip of one single bone in my body.

Other than the Pirouette or the Henrietta (which are both very drool worth shoes! I would love to be able to wear a pair!), I really like the Clara. They are also very cute and reminiscent of real ballet shoes.
