We were treated to delightful new photos of Princess Charlotte this evening in advance of her seventh birthday tomorrow.
The Duchess of Cambridge took them this weekend at Anmer Hall, the family’s country home in Norfolk. In all of the photos, you see the Princess in a lovely field of bluebells.
Another family member joins the Princess in one of the pictures; below, you see her with Orla, the family’s spaniel. 
Orla is reported to have joined the family not long before Lupo, the family’s first spaniel, died in late 2020. James Middleton bred both dogs, and Orla’s mother is Luna, a sister to Lupo.

Catherine's ability to turn out natural and relaxed snaps of her children is exceptional. Charlotte's independent and lively spirit shines out in these shots and, of course, she's looking ever more grown up. It is a treat to see her and I'm grateful to the Cambridges for sharing pictures on such a regular basis.

Such a wonderfully composed photo to celebrate a seven year old girl's birthday. Kate keeps it real with her family by taking the photos herself. I really like how she captures them as they are, at they age they are without much if any 'staging'. The pictures show how skilled she is and the outcome portrays how much her hobby means to her. I think by continuing to take the birthday photos herself and not engaging the services of a professional she is also managing the overall cost of running her household. It's something that I consider when the cost of another new outfit may seem over the top. Lovely to see all the photos together. Thank you!

What absolutely gorgeous portraits of Princess Charlotte! Her confident and outgoing nature shines. The DoC is a wonderful photographer, and so much thought and care went into these photographs, not just for the birthday girl but to bring her brothers in too. Prince George was photographed holding Princess Charlotte, and Princess Charlotte was photographed holding Prince Louis. What a wonderful way to give all the children their own special experience and not make one the most special of the three.
